Community Food Programs

Community HUB and Lunch

In this time of fear and uncertainty, we believe that compassion is as important as ever. As a community we are choosing to share what we have with those around us who may be scared, hungry and alone.

Use your connections

We are always looking for those with connections in the food industry who might be able to help.

Financial Support

The Meal Bag Program relies on donors like you to help keep our community from going hungry. Consider a financial contribution today to help feed your community.

Donate grocery items

For more specific needs please see the list of items below. Donations can be dropped off at the church Monday to Friday from 9am-4:00pm.

Volunteer your time

If you have what others need, please give generously.

We are always looking for new pairs of helping hands. If you can volunteer to prepare and package food and bags onsite, deliver meal bags, or even providing “buddy” telephone support, then please contact Lisa Lunski at  llunski@wsquare.ca for more information about how you can help and get involved.

Donate through e-Transfer

If you would like to make a financial donation to support the Meal Bags please send an E-Transfer to  accounting@wsquare.ca

In the details section, please include your name, address, telephone number and brief description of where your offering is to be directed (i.e. Meal Bag program). If you do not specify a direction for your offering, it will be allocated to the Church’s General Fund.

Donate through CanadaHelps

Otherwise, click the link below to make a safe and secure gift through CanadaHelps. Select “Friday Night Community” from the dropdown box provided. Donations will default to the “Outreach and Expenses” for the church which supports the general running of the church otherwise. Please note that 4% of your donation goes to CanadaHelps as an admin fee that primarily covers credit card charges.
