Knitted Squares

Zikomo! Thank you! To all of the people who knitted or crocheted “squares” to send to Malawi.  We collected a total of 555 squares! That is 15 blankets that the widows group will make for children!

The squares of all colours and textures were packed up and shipped in a container with other goods that left for Malawi at the beginning of December. They are in transit, and we will let you know when they have arrived safely to be turned into blankets.

This is such a beautiful way to support our friends in Malawi, and each and every square is so very much appreciated. We encourage you to keep knitting and crocheting, and dropping off the squares to the church office when you can.  We hope to get another shipment sent this fall.

Again, thank you for your love and care for children in Malawi.

Zikomo!
