Wellington Square did a great job serving and representing both Christ and their church!
By now the logistics of the trip are a bit easier (or so it seems) as we’ve done it a few times and the leadership team brings great experience to the table.
Caitlin did a great job of leading the team — setting a tone of service and focus on Christ but also fun and fellowship! As always with the youth teams there’s great times of small group discussion, break out times, check-ins, etc.
I accredit this to the value of having staff leadership and/or strong lay leadership on all teams to help shape and tone the spiritual direction of the team’s experience.
