Hands & Hearts for Africa - Malawi
Since 2006, Wellington Square has been connected with partners on the ground in Malawi, Africa.
Several mission trips have occurred and there are more to come in the future. There are many opportunities for everyone to get involved like learning opportunities, prayer, financial support, and knitting squares for children’s blankets.
We’re putting together golf teams for the Frannie Gray Memorial Golf Tournament, supporting the work of our longtime partners, Hands and Hearts for Africa.
HAHFA works alongside grassroots partners in Malawi, investing in locally led, sustainable work that helps communities flourish.
So yes, your golf game can actually do some good in the world … and given some of our golf games, it’s nice to know something good will come out of the day. 😏 It's all about having fun and supporting restorative work being done in places like Malawi.

the work we support
Water & Irrigation
HAHFA has partnered with Pastor Moses of the Word of Grace Church, to help bring life-giving water to a 35 hectare irrigation site. This has allowed crops to be grown year-round, reducing food shortages in the Bimbi area, with phase One alone helping 280 families.
Children & Youth
A wonderful woman named Efrida runs a “Kids Club” that feeds neighbourhood orphaned children numbering from 80-200 at the program.
Offender Habilitation
Prison Fellowship Malawi through its Half Way House Vocational skills program seeks to empower and educate inmates so they can successfully re-integrate into society.
