Sunday Services

9:30am contemporary service and our 11am traditional service.

Every Sunday we take some time to do the one thing we believe we need to do to be truly and fully human: take some time to connect with God, each other, and ourselves. Some people call it church. Some call it worship. Whatever you call it, that’s what a Sunday service is all about.

Whether it’s through music, a spiritual practice, having a conversation about a Bible story or what’s happening in our world, or through experiencing some peace and grace, being in inclusive community, or by exploring some wisdom and truths that Jesus teaches, we try to create space for people to connect and leave feeling seen, inspired or challenged, rested and grounded, and bit more alive and whole than when you came in.

If that resonates with you, come and join us for a Sunday. We’d love to have you. Everyone is welcome!

New to this whole church thing?

That’s okay. Hopefully this can help:

Do I need to dress up? Nope. Seriously. It doesn’t matter what you wear, what kind of mood or state you’re in, or whether you show up late, we want you to be you and show up as you are and when you can.

What if I don’t know the songs? That’s totally ok. We invite you participate as much or as little as you like. We all connect with God in our own ways and have things we do and don’t like doing.  All we encourage you to do is be open and use this time  for you.

Do I have to believe it all? Nope. A lot of us believe different things. That’s the beauty of it. You’re welcome with all your doubts, beliefs, differences, and questions. Those things all belong in faith & spirituality.

What about my kids? We offer some pretty amazing kids and youth programs. Both take place every Sunday at our 930am service and begin as soon as the service does. You can find out more information about them here.

Does it cost anything? Nope. While the church does run off of donations from our community and we do encourage everyone who calls  Wellington Square ‘home’ and believes in our work to donate and be involved as the can, there’s no expectation to financially donate, especially if you’re just checking us out. If you want more information about supporting the church, you can find it all here.

Is it online? We stream both our services every week on our YouTube channel. You can find past services there too.

What’s the United Church?:  The United Church of Canada is the denomination we’re a part of. You can read more about it here.

Wondering about something else? You can reach out to us and we’ll do what we can to help you out.
